  • The Whit Whit Fund


    The Posillico men shaved their heads every year for St. Baldrick’s to raise money for Pediatric Cancer. Then our daughter, Whitney, was diagnosed with cancer and her cousin decided to start “Team Whitney” to raise money in her honor. In ten days, we raised over $173,000!

  • The 2013 Whit Whit Walk


    The 1st Annual Whit Whit Walk was on September 14, 2013. 250 friends and family walked and donated over $40,000! This began our research for the Whit Whit Fund at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

  • The 2014 Whit Whit Walk


    The 2nd Annual Whit Whit Walk raised more than $50,000 with over 250 walkers!

  • The 2015 Whit Whit Walk


    This was the first year we had an honoree. It was a special event in which we celebrated Leukemia survivor, Colin Bowles, and raised over $80,000 with over 550 walkers!

  • The 2016 Whit Whit Walk


    The 4th Annual Whit Whit Walk celebrated Will Benjamin. We held an intimate cocktail party prior to the walk to thank our sponsors and kick off the year with great live auctions. A few months later, more than 500 participants joined the Whit Whit Walk and together, both events raised over $160,000!

  • The 2017 Whit Whit Walk


    The 5th Annual Whit Whit Walk celebrated 8-year-old Leukemia survivor, Collin Trust. With a beautiful summer cocktail party and a successful walk of over 750 participants, we raised funds of more than $230,000! Amazing!

  • The 2018 Whit Whit Walk


    This year we celebrated Wilms Tumor survivor, Max Adelhardt. This year was a special year for his family as it marked his 5-year cancer-free milestone! Over 650 walkers attended and raised over $215,000 for research!

  • The 2019 Whit Whit Walk


    The 2019 Whit Whit Walk was another beautiful day celebrating Myles Kolar with hundreds of walkers who helped raise over $165,000 in donations.

  • The 2020 Whit Whit Walk

    The 2020 walk was a VIRTUAL Walk. With just our family, we joined our honoree, Tom Vielkind, at Caumsett State Park for a few words and stroll around the loop. We raised over $137,000!

  • The 2021 Whit Whit Walk

    In 2021 we were able to once again have the walk after the pandemic. We celebrated with hundreds of walkers and raised more than $113,000!

  • The 2022 Whit Whit Cocktail Party

    In 2022 we had beautiful cocktail party on the water with music and a live auction. Victoria Oxer spoke about her experience as a patient at MSK and Dr. Shukla shared our updated research projects. We raised over $172,000!

    The Whit Whit Fund raises money to research Pediatric Cancers. To date we have raised over $1,400,000 for the Whit Whit Fund for more than $1,600,000 for Pediatric Cancer Research!
