Lemon Water and Ginger Tea- “How To” Video

For so long I have heard the benefits of lemon water and ginger tea but never researched it or tried it. I was a little bit of a skeptic BUT when I recently started dealing with inflammation and swelling from pregnancy, I knew I needed to try something! I absolutely loved them both. I now enjoy a cup of warm lemon water every morning and I sip on ginger tea after meals or throughout the day. I believe it has absolutely helped my swelling and digestive system. I am also better hydrated! Give it a try! 

Lemon Water
Before breakfast in the morning, squeeze 1/2 a lemon in 1-2 cups of warm water. Drink and wait 10 minutes before putting anything else into your system.

Ginger Tea
Throughout the day or after meals, cut a few thin slices of fresh ginger and toss into your mug. Add hot water and sip. Feel free to add a little honey or lemon, if you need. I love this after meals!

Notes
Use organic, if possible.
You can get creative with both of these. You can add cayenne to your lemon water. You can change up your ginger tea by adding lemon or honey.
